Polygon’s hard fork now comes down to one question: can validators, delegators, and major holders align around the changes, with 70 million POL in play?
The vote matters, but turnout may matter more. Thin participation can leave the outcome uncertain even when the proposal appears technically sound.
For users, the main risk is continuity. Track the activation block, validator support, client compatibility, and announcements from major infrastructure providers. The fork should preserve balances and staking positions, but outdated software, conflicting clients, or a delayed activation could create disruption and fragmentation risk.
